Julia advised its clients for more than 15 years in M&A and private equity in both domestic and cross-border transactions in leading international law firms. Prior to founding Belay Avocats, Julia worked at DLA Piper as Counsel.
Julia advises its clients executive managers and investors in the context of external growth transactions, sale process, private equity transactions (LBO, MBO, OBO), fundraising, management packages and intra-group restructurings.
She mainly works for French and internal clients in buy or sell side transactions or equity investment of a strategic industrial partner or financial investor and has extensive experience in M&A/private equity process and complex negotiations.

Private Equity
- Advised the founders of the Kinougarde/Complétude group (childcare services) on the entry of RAISE Investissement and GENEO Capital Entrepreneur into the share capital (2021)
- Assisted Montefiore Investment in its equity investment in the Bridge group (nursing homes) alongside 123 IM (2021)
- Advised Bpifrance on its minority stake acquisition in the Sabena Technics group (aircraft maintenance) (2019), Sandaya (hospitality) (2021), and Ginger (soil and material engineering) (2021)
- Counsel to Abenex Capital (Mid-Cap) in connection with its acquisition of a majority stake in Cisbio Bioassays (drugs and in vitro diagnostics) (2016) and its sale to the PerkinElmer Group (2019)
- Counsel to the founders and management of Groupe Rougnon (climate engineering and building trades) in the context of the investment by Tikehau and Bpifrance (2019)
- Advised Ardian (Mid-Cap) on its majority stake acquisition in the Prosol/Grand Frais group alongside the founder and management (2017)

- Advised the Airvance group on the acquisition of SIG Air Handling branch (ventilation products and solutions) from the SIG group (2019) and the sale of the SIG Air Handling Netherlands branch (2020)
- Advised the founders on the sale of the Garancia group (cosmetic care) to Unilever (2019)
- Advised Systemax group on the sale of its French subsidiary Inmac Wstore (professional IT services and equipment) (2018)
